HOSPITALART

The Women In The Visual Arts HOSPITALART Program is a unique program in south Florida.

WITVA Artist members create colorful paintings on canvas and donate them free-of-charge to not-for-profit organizations in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. Our art is anonymously created by many hands and each 18 x 24 inch canvas may be a complete painting or grouped to create larger murals. A list is available of the organizations served by this unique program since 1999.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for donating the paintings for our center. Our residents and staff have commented on how colorful they are and how they brighten the center. Please thank all the volunteers that dedicate their time to paint and share their artwork."

"It was a true pleasure to meet you and be a part of your wonderful cause. I can tell you righ now that the staff at each clinic was extremely happy, surprised, and thankful. The paintings added so much color and life to those dull walls; it was a much-needed gift.
I know the patient exam rooms would love some artwork since the walls are blank. I have also sent out an email to another pediatric department that could use some brightening up!"

" Completed artwork is used to decorate walls, corridors, waiting rooms, etc. The objective of your HOSPITALART Program is bringing cheerful art, color, and beauty to the white, sterile walls, and ceilings of our traditional hospital setting."
