WITVA encourages the achievement of talented women who are in the process of earning a Masters degree in the Visual Arts. On the basis of talent and need, our committee of artist members reviews samples of submitted art work that reach us through recommendations of their college art departments. Candidates who pass the first jurying process are expected to make a final presentation of their work to a general membership meeting, when final financial Scholarship support is decided upon. In 2011 WITVA awarded $10,500 to women college students who will be pursuing their masters.  

WITVA WELCOMES CONTRIBUTIONS FROM THE PUBLIC, which will add to the funding of more worthy art students. Contributions may be sent to our Treasurer and earmarked for Graduate College Scholarships:
